There is nothing better than seeing a sign from the Universe that is so blatantly meant for your eyes and understanding.   You see, there are always signs around us.  The question is whether or not we choose to pay attention to them.

I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.  Those signs that appear “coincidental.”  The timing is often uncanny and wonderfully amazing.  It’s those signs that confirm which way to go or that we’re on the right track or even that we need to change tracks.  Signs that will lead us in the right direction if we only follow them.   Signs that tell us what to do or not to do.

Perhaps you can remember an instance when you, yourself, have experienced such a sign.  Maybe it was a sign on the road that seemed to shout its message to you as you passed it and you heard it echo deep within yourself.  A conversation with someone who said just what you need to hear.  A phone call from someone you never spoke with before who has experience in exactly what you had decided to research only moments before.  Maybe even when you have a big plan but things never seem to line up and you understand that now is not the time to pursue this avenue, or in this way.

Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.

— Albert Einstein, The World As I See It

We all receive signs from the wisdom of the Universe around us.  Many times we wait to take action hoping we’ll receive a sign of some sort with big flashing lights and a clear message on what we should do.  Have you noticed they rarely appear that way?  They are subtle.  They that make you pause and go “hmmm” or “oh my” or “wow.”  They appear at just the right time, and in the most perfect fashion.

Last week my daughter Arwen and I went to the humane society to find a new pet companion to welcome into our family.  We went with a specific animal already in mind, but found out that animal wasn’t compatible with our other animals.  So our fun search for a new friend began.

Arwen and Hobo

Hobo came directly toward us and began licking me and Arwen.  He nestled himself next to us and was content to stay there.  When I noticed he had a paralyzed tail, I knew he was meant for us.  You see, we have another cat at home that has a paralyzed tail – my daughter’s cat – who may be passing soon due to an old age illness.  We interacted with several animals, but of course, he was the best with us.  We took him home on Saturday and the bond between him and my daughter has continued to grow.  When we opened the curtains Sunday morning, a canary landed on the window screen and just looked at us making itself known; after about 20 seconds it flew away.  Never since we have lived in this home has that happened.  I think it was another sign that we are on the right track and all shall be well.

I invite you to welcome the signs into your life in a more conscious way.  Be on the look out for them.  Then once you are aware of them, heed their guidance.  You will be lead to a wonderfully amazing life if you do.

Certainly if you are looking for a companion animal, you can save a life if you adopt one (or two) from your local animal shelter.  I’d love to hear your experience with following the signs in your life so please feel free to comment below.

As always, unlock your potential and experience your possibilities!
