In every moment, you have a choice.
You have a choice to align with your highest self and the best version of yourself you can become or you can choose the path that will offer you less than your fullest potential and a separation from your authenticity.
The choice is yours to make.
Yet choosing isn’t always easy.
For every choice, you really have three options to consider:
1. You can choose to live by default responding to the events of your life.
Choosing to not take personal responsibility for yourself and creating a life that honors and inspires you is a choice to live in fear, to believe yourself to be a victim of circumstance, and to give away your power. In doing so, you actively turn away from the deeper truth of who you are, your worthiness to receive what you desire, and your life purpose and spiritual calling in the world.
2. You can choose the gray area of settling and sacrificing.
Taking half measures or not fully committing to the choice that feels best to you will never serve you. It is a costly option that will erode your sense of self as it whittles away at your self-image, confidence, integrity, and core values. The incongruence between knowing what you want to choose, yet not choosing it completely, creates a disharmony within your being that can be hard to overcome.
Self-doubt and uncertainty arise as you become more concerned about what others may think of you or the story you’re telling yourself about what it means about you to make the choice you truly desire.
This choice is a shift away from self-love and authenticity and often leads to inaction as a result of the conflicting messages you’re giving yourself about your worthiness and what you want for yourself.
3. Lastly, you can choose to be a conscious creator in your life.
You can claim your power and become an active participant in what takes place in your life. You may not be able to control all the events and circumstances that arise, yet you can greatly influence the outcomes you experience based on your beliefs, expectations, attention, and choices.
Acknowledging your authentic truth and desires allows you to remain connected to your underlying purpose and motivation so you can follow through with the decisions you make no matter what may appear on the path to its fulfillment.
Doing the right thing (for you) isn’t always easy. What’s right for you may not be right for another. It may not be the choice others would choose for you or it may not be a choice that makes things easy for others, either. That’s what can make it feel so difficult.
Yet it’s your spiritual responsibility to make the choices that are in your best and highest good for your personal growth and evolution. When you live from that place of deep truth and honesty, by extension, you also serve the highest good of anyone impacted by your choice as well. We are all connected.
Life can present you with the most unexpected twists and turns.
Yet difficult choices offer the biggest opportunity for personal growth because they cause you to stretch more deeply into your desires and commit to a path that will allow you to experience greater joy, fulfillment, freedom, and abundance.
How you respond to times of transition and growth is up to you.
Embrace uncertainty. Acknowledge that making hard choices often involves venturing into the unknown. At the same time, remember that you have everything already within you to successfully navigate the unknown. Your soul knows which choices which will serve you best.
Trust your intuition. Cultivate a deep spiritual connection with your highest Self so you can hear the inner voice within you as it guides you towards choices that are aligned with your authentic self. Let your intuition guide you to them.
Identify your core values and priorities so you can use them as a compass when making difficult decisions.
Honor yourself, practice self-compassion, and seek guidance from a mentor who can help you clarify your deepest desires. It’s up to you to align with your highest potential and follow through with the action that supports it.
As you embrace your growth and learning, you’ll begin to see challenges and choices as stepping stones toward deeper spiritual evolution and self-improvement. You may not always be ready to make a choice, but in your heart-of-hearts, you’ll always know which path aligns best with your most authentic self.
So appreciate the journey you are on and recognize that even challenging decisions will lead to greater wisdom and fulfillment.
I’m cheering you on, .
